Tilt shift photography refers to the use of camera movements on small and medium format cameras, and sometimes specifically refers to the use of tilt for selective focus, often for simulating a miniature scene. A tilt-shift lens allows for the rotation of lens against the image plane (tilt), as well as the movement of lens along the image plane (shift).
Below I have compiled some of the best tilt shift photography examples. All examples are linked to their sources. Clicking on the pictures will take you to where I found them, and will allow you to see a larger version and learn more about the photographers.
