Following Photoshop tool are used in this tutorial.

  • Rectangle Tool
  • Custom Shape Tool

Lets start to create our an Audio Player Slider in Photoshop.

Step 1

Open Adobe Photoshop, and create a new Photoshop document. I am going to create a new document of 500 x 400 px with #caccce color.

First of all select the Rectangle Tool (U) of and draw a rectangle with #3a3c3d color as like in preview and name it layer Base.

Now we will applying blending options on this base layer.

After applying these layer styles we have get a cool effect on base layer.

Step 3

Select the Custom Shape Tool (U) and chose your pause button in custom shapes and draw a pause button as like in preview.

Now we will applying applying the layer styles. Follow these steps.

After applying these blending option, we have get a new look of pause button as like in preview.

Step 4

In this step we draw a separator or divider with the help of the rectangle tool (U) and applying gradient overlay on this layer.

After applying this layer style we have nice effect on separator layer as like in preview.

Now we take a duplicate of separator layer and set this duplicate separator under the original separator layer and move this duplicate separator layer little bit of the right side as like in preview.

Now we will create a track bar with the help of rectangle tool as like in preview below.

Applying the layer styles on track bar layer. Follow these following steps.

After applying layer styles we will get new effect on track bar layer.

Step 7

In this 7 step we draw a progress bar using of the rectangle tool (U) with #e8958a color as like in preview below.

Now we will applying some effect on this progress bar. Follow these steps.

After applying these all effects then we have get a very beautiful effect on the progress bar as like in preview below.

Step 8

In this step we create the again separator. Repeat the step 4 and 5 as like in preview below.

Now draw a volume controller icon from the custom shape (U) as like in preview below.

Note: “If you have not volume controller custom shape then you can absolutely used the volume controller icon in png format.”

Now we will draw a volume controller progress bar. Same repeat the 6 and 7 steps. After doing these steps we will successfully complete the our own Audio Player Slider as like in final preview below.
