How to Create a Speed Lightning Car Photo in Photoshop

In this tutorial, I will combine many simple effects to create an attractive and cool result, to make a lighting speed car. I hope you enjoy the tutorial and try it with your own stock imagery. It’s basically some lighting effects with blurs and blend modes, but the effect is beautiful.

Lets start to create our speed lightning car photo in photoshop.

Step 1

Create new document (Ctrl+N) 1000×700 of size.

Step 2

First of all I am going to add the Car Image in adobe Photoshop.

Select Eraser Tool from tool panel and erase the background of this car image layer.

Step 3

Select Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a selection left wheel of the car.

Go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur and set amount (20).

After set the radial amount we get this result.

Step 4

Now again select the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make selection right wheel of the car.

Go to Filter > Blur > Radial Blur and set amount (20).

After applying radial blur we get result.

Step 5

Now I am going to applying Layer Style or Blending Option on car image layer. Go to the Blending Option and applying Inner Shadow.

After applying inner shadow we get new effect on car image layer.

Step 6

Duplicate car image layer and apply the motion blur filter on duplicate car layer. Go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and set distance (35).
