Create a Typographic Portrait in Photoshop – Final Preview

Lets start to create our easy typographic portrait in photoshop.
Step 1
Create a new document (Ctrl+N) with 1000×1000 of size.


Step 2
First set background color black #000000, now I am going to add the Beautiful Girl Image in photoshop.


Rasterize it, select Eraser Tool and erase upper unneeded are of girl image layer.


Step 3
Now duplicate girl image (Ctrl+J) and set image adjustment.
Go to Image > Adjustment > Desaturated.


Step 4
Go to File > Save As and save the file with any of name I am going to save with the name of Girl. Now hide girl image layer select Text Tool open text panel and set this settings.


Now write some text with different sizes applying white color #ffffff as like in preview.


When we write text now duplicate this text layer four or five time and place these duplicate layers down side as like in picture below.


Step 5
In this step press right click on Text Tool and select Vertical Type Tool, then write some text with white color #ffffff.


Duplicate this vertical text layer six or seven time and place these duplicate layers left side as like in picture below.


Step 6
Select all horizontal and vertical text layers, merge them (Ctrl+E) then go to the Blending Options and applying Drop Shadow on merge text layer.


After applying drop shadow we get nice result.


Step 7
Now duplicate text layer and applying Gaussian Blur on duplicate text layer.
Go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.


After applying gaussian blur we get a new effect on duplicate text layer.


Step 8
Now go to Filter > Distort > Displace, set horizontal and vertical scale (15).


Press OK then a window opened, now select that PSD file we save in step 4.


When we open that PSD file we get this result.


Now set original girl image to top of all the other layers and unhidden it change Blend Mode to (Hard Light) of this image layer.


Now go to Filter > Noise > Dust & Scratches and set Radius (7).


After set dust and scratches we get a new result.


After complete all steps we get our typographic portrait in final preview.
